Name: Emmeline Emile Vance.
Age/Birthday: 16, 12th of August.
House/Year: Hufflepuff 6th year.
Location: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Blood: Pureblood.
Wand: 14", ashwood, gryffin hair core.
Achievments: Prefect.
Alignment: Future Order member.

Weaknesses: Emmeline is not a very intellectual girl, thus the reason for being placed in Hufflepuff house she is rather hot headed and rushes into problematic situation without thinking of the consequences. She has a severe fear of falling in love believing it shall only end in hurt this is due to the rocky relationship of her parents and the events that ultimately led to their divorce.

Strengths: What Emmeline lacks in intellect she gains in quick wit and common sense, with a sharp tongue she has great ethics and morals.

Friendships/Relationships: Emmeline is what you would call a social butterfly. Content with making conversation with anyone who will listen to her, thus having lots of acquaintances and few friends.

Sexual orientation: Emmeline is a confused girl at the best of times.

DETAILED SECTION.

Appearance:Emmeline is a thin girl, almost sickly looking but not quite. Her family, Grandmother specifically, continually prod and pick at her, telling her that she's too thin and she should eat more, but she thinks she eats just fine. With her tiny stature and petite figure, it looks as though a gust of wind could finish her off but she's stronger than she looks.
She doesn't have much of a chest area, although this has never bothered her. Emmeline has dark brown hair, a small mouth and large eyes. She has been described as 'stately looking', and prefers clothing and most things in everything but the color green.

Clothing Style: When she is not in her School robes Emmeline prefers classy outfits dresses and flowing tops, tights and many accesories she prefers to go for class and style rather then comfort.

Family: Her parents are Jonathan and Olivia Vance, married out of convenience and wealth as opposed to love. Their bank accounts rivalled each other, so naturally the families thought it best to join each family. The Vances only ever had one child - Emmeline. Emmeline's grandparents, on her fathers side, are also alive.

History: Emmeline Vance was born to a fairly wealthy wizarding family just outside London. She grew up in a rather large home just on the outskirts of the city with her mother and father. Her parents, Jonathan and Olivia Vance, weren't married for love, but instead out of convenience for both of their families. This left a large void in their relationship, only ever having one daughter. Jonathans family frowned upon Emmeline as she was not male and therefore wasn't technically a heir and would not carry on the Vance name.

Growing up Emmeline tried to fill the void in her life by attempting to find other outlets for love and affection as both of her parents seemed uncabable of showing this to her, except her mother on the rarest of occasions. Her grandparents where just as incompetent as her parents in that area showing coldness towards their only grandchild because she was not a male. Her parents seperated shortly after Emmelines 10th birthday.

Emmeline dissapointed her family furthermore when she was sorted into Hufflepuff her father had been in Slytherin and her mother a Ravenclaw both finding Hufflepuff an inferior house for unworthy Witches and Wizards. As Emmeline aged her mother had began growing more accepting of her daughter discovering her to be highly ambitious a trait that would've made her father proud. Emmeline severed ties with her father at age 14 when discovering the reason for the seperation of her parents. Her father had been unfaithful to her mother on several occasions thus causing Emmeline to lose trust in males and love.

Personality: Emmeline wants to be the first Vance woman to do something with her life other than make children and support a husband in his career, playing trophy wife for him and dinner guests every other evening, playing the silent loving role while he screws about with every other woman in his office this is the soul reason why she admires her mother she was strong enough to leave her sorry excuse for a husband. Emmeline is ambitious and quick witted, possessing a tongue of cold wit and steel, always ready with a quick retort or comeback with the situation calls for it.

Emmeline has no interest in the dark arts apart from fighting against them. She wants to be one of the people fighting against the evils of the wizarding world, not helping them gain power. She's studying to be a Auror and knows that with study she will get the right grades for it, it's just breaking the news to her mother that is going to be most difficult.

Her mother believes that a woman should hold her tongue and be quiet, letting the man have all the adventure. But Emmeline knows there isn't anyway she could stand such a lifestyle and she's likely to die alone for it as most of the men her grandparents and mother would like her to marry prefer the quiet type, women who are to be seen and not heard, clutching on to their husband's arms for guidance at every turn in their life.

She wants more for herself and she'll be damned sure that whatever she wants, she'll get.

Leo, Hufflepuff: Although this might seem like a strange sign for Hufflepuffs, Hufflepuff Leos do exist. Many become the prefects of their House when they reach the proper age, for they are good with other people, have a fine sense of initiative, and have the nobility of spirit to see that the right thing gets done at all times. They like to set a good example for others - the phrase "noblesse oblige" probably sums it up well (nobility imposes obligation). Generous to a fault, they will give everything they have (be it money, energy, or loyalty) to anyone who needs it.
